Brand Identification Policy for
IDM Signs & Graphics

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to outline the requirements and conditions under which IDM Signs & Graphics will affix its logo, contact information, and other branding elements to the signage products we manufacture and install. This policy helps in promoting our brand, complying with certain legal requirements, and ensuring quality assurance through identification.

Policy Details

1. Brand Marking Requirements:
– All exterior signs produced and installed by IDM Signs & Graphics will include our logo, phone number, and website. This marking is a standard practice for brand promotion and may be
required by specific city or state regulations for sign fabricators to label the sign with our logo and UL certification sticker or marking.
– Interior signs are exempt from this requirement and will not have our branding unless specifically requested.

2. Private Label Option
– Customers have the option to purchase a private label product, which will not include our logo or any identifying marks. This option is available for a flat fee of $250.00.
– If the private label option is not selected and paid for in advance, and our logo is subsequently removed from an exterior sign, a fee of $75 will be charged. At that point, customers may opt to purchase the private label option, or they will be responsible for the expenses incurred for a team member to reapply the labeling.

3. Signage for Large Projects
– For significant projects or those that are highly visible within the local community, IDM Signs & Graphics reserves the right to place a temporary sign on the property showcasing our company and the work we are performing. This sign will be no larger than 5’ x 10’.
– The temporary sign will be installed up to 30 business days prior to the initiation of installation and will be removed within 14 business days after the completion of the installation.
– If the customer prefers not to have this temporary sign displayed, a fee of $250 will be charged for not labeling our upcoming job.

Rationale

This policy is in place for both legal compliance and brand promotion. By marking our signs with our logo and contact information, we can:
– Promote our brand and services to potential new customers.
– Comply with city or state requirements for sign identification and UL certification.
– Ensure easy identification of our products for quality assurance purposes.
