IDM Signs & Graphics Installation Warranty Policy

At IDM Signs & Graphics, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality installations. However, the scope of our warranty varies depending on whether the installation involves signs fabricated by our team.

Installation of Non-Fabricated Signs

No Warranty Coverage:

– Condition: If IDM Signs & Graphics installs a sign that was not fabricated by our team (i.e., in-house), *no warranty is offered* on the installation. We are not responsible for the sign’s durability, structural integrity, or any subsequent issues that arise post-installation, as we cannot guarantee the quality of materials or design specifications not produced by our team.

Installation of Fabricated Signs

Five-Year Installation Warranty:

– Coverage Duration: When IDM Signs & Graphics fabricates and installs a sign, the installation is warranted for a period of *five years* from the date of installation.
– Coverage Details: This warranty covers faults directly related to the installation process. For example, if a sign becomes partially detached or suffers damage due to improper installation, such as inadequate securing or alignment, we will address these issues under the warranty.

Exclusions

– Weather Conditions: The warranty is void if damage occurs in wind speeds exceeding 50 mph. Our signs are generally designed to withstand significant weather conditions, but we limit our installation warranty to wind speeds not exceeding this threshold.
– Acts of God: Damage from natural disasters or other uncontrollable events (commonly referred to as ‘Acts of God’) are not covered. It is advisable to insure your sign to cover such scenarios.
– Unauthorized Modifications: If any modifications, repairs, or servicing are performed by companies or persons not authorized by IDM Signs & Graphics, the warranty will be considered void. Only IDM Signs & Graphics or our approved agents are authorized to work on warranted signs. Documentation of each service performed must be filed with us to maintain the warranty.

Scenario Covered Under Warranty:
– If, for example, two months post-installation, the sign starts to detach or shows signs of improper installation such as hanging or electrical issues not caused by external factors, this would fall under our warranty. We would then undertake to fabricate and install a replacement for the affected parts of the sign at no additional cost.
Changes to the Sign:
– Changes made to the design, size, or other specifications of the sign after installation are not covered under this warranty. Any alterations invalidate the warranty, and any new work will be billed at full price.
Warranty Claims:
– To claim under this warranty, please contact our customer service team at support@idmsigns.com with detailed information about the issue. We will review your claim and, if covered, arrange for appropriate remedial action.
